I call myself a painter's photography. Though I studied computer graphics at Queens College in the mid 1980s, I later became a professional painter, keeping photography as a side hobby and passion. Today, I combine all of my experiences into one medium, overlapping painting with photography and graphics editing.
In order to create this unique artwork, I first visualize a concept beforehand on paper, then choose the suitable subjects (often making them myself using glass, paper, plastic, and paint), photograph these subjects, and finally utilize various software to digitally paint and manipulate the photographs I have taken.
Each of my digital art works are printed and dye-infused on aluminum. The metal prints take on a magical luminescence and have a depth that in effect glows.Together, these exciting new pieces express over 35 years experience of painting and photography, representing my enduring interest in the emotional connections and beauty of nature.
All photos are mounted on board with wood frame. All photos are limited edition signed and numbered.
